FOREXT at the EU CAP Network workshop
In the recent EU CAP Network workshop ‘Circular bioeconomy – valorisation of forest by-products’ FOREXT was represented by Benjamin Chapelet from CNPF as well as by our coordinator Inazio Martinez de Arano from EFI.
This workshop gathered 80 participants from 23 Member States, including forest owners, researchers, advisors, industry, and others. They explored innovative approaches to utilising forestry by-products within the circular bioeconomy. In addition, site visits were organised, as well as a poster session featuring 16 selected projects, demonstrating the synergies between research, industry, and forestry stakeholders. Benjamin and Inazio also had the chance to share information about the newly launched FORADVISE project.
