What we do

The network provides for it members opportunities for developing extension capacity building through:

● exchange of experiences, experts and expertise
● development and sharing of extension tools
● establishing joint learning platforms
● exchange of best practices
● developing and implementing relevant European projects

In October 2022, we visited Carlow, Ireland, where the Intergrate Network has Oakpark 2 marteloscope. On site, there was a demo of the the I+Trainer software.

These actions are done for example in following topics:
● finding and developing tools/methodologies/best practices for engaging new and inactive forest owners
● communication with forest owners, general public and society
● sustainable, climate friendly forestry and its role in climate change
● environment protection and diversity
● improving e-learning
● digitalisation, new tools
● developing certification in forestry and extension services
● soft skills (e.g. group facilitation, extension methods, leadership)
● sustainable non-industrial private forestry and wood mobilisation
● examples of supply chain regarding bio economy and ecosystem services and goods
● framework and structure of extension organisations
● influencing on policy members and lobbying
● translating materials for disseminating information
